About Me.
When someone decides to be a teacher, it's typically a lifelong commitment. An avid reader and writer growing up, I felt at home in my English classes. When the majority of my family moved out of state post-college, my own classroom became my home for the beginning of my professional career.
That starry-eyed dreamer who joined a field to help others is still inside, but I'd like to see her transition into a role that allows for a bit more growth.
While I may be entering a new field, I am no stranger to empathizing with and prioritizing audience needs. If I can get a room full of thirty teenagers to hang on every last word of Romeo and Juliet, I'd love the challenge of discovering what users, customers, and the rest of the general public may need in order to find joy in a platform or service.
